Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche is regarded as a great mahasiddha whose fame spread beyond the frontiers of western Tibet, Nagchu and Tso Sum from the four provinces of the Dolpo region on the border of Tibet and Nepal.
The formal enthronement ceremony and hair offering of Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche was made during the auspicious Kargud Monlam festival at Bodh Gaya on 25th December 1996 in the presence of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje and H.E. Shamar Rinpoche.
Rinpoche has completed his Buddhist studies and obtained his certification from Vikramashila Buddhist Institute. He has also completed a traditional three and a half years meditation retreat at Pharping and has been appointed Vajra Master of Jangchub Choeling Monastery in Pokhara, Nepal where he presently resides.
